Charlie Sheen visits storm-wracked Alabama

Sheen purchased flashlights with Harris at a local store. He paid the $324.07 tab with his own Visa card, and then brought them to a relief center.

Sheen is embraced by Adrian Norfleet at the Belk Center. "I'm astounded," Norfleet said. "I just can't believe someone would care so much."

Sheen and one of his "goddesses," Natty Kenly, tour Tuscaloosa with Don Staley. Sheen spent much of Monday touring Tuscaloosa's storm devastated areas. He started in Alberta and made visits to 15th Street the University and the Belk Center.

Sheen signs an autograph for Gloria Harris on Monday, May 2, 2011. Sheen posted a photo Monday on Twitter showing the wreckage of a home with a message: "I'm in Tuscaloosa. It's beyond words. Info coming soon on how you can all help."

Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox and Sheen answer questions for the media. "I hope he's sincere when he says he'll come back," Maddox said.

Sheen tours Tuscaloosa with Dan Staley. While going through the ruins of an apartment complex, he said he hoped people could find sentimental possessions: "Little personal items mean so much in this kind of devastation."

Sheen helps carry coolers full of food for a benefit baseball game and concert, Monday, May 2, 2011 in Tuscaloosa, Ala.

Sheen signs autographs in Tuscaloosa. He also posed for photographs with police officers and National Guard soldiers.
