British singer Natasha Bedingfield was the featured performer at the DKMS Linked Against Leukemia Gala Wednesday night. She is also promoting her new album 'Pocketful of Sunhine 'and rehearsing for an upcoming tour.

Hip-hop pioneer Darryl 'DMC' McDaniels was scheduled to perform at the 2nd annual black-tie affair.

Sarah Connor also performed at the event. According to the DKMS Web site, the gala's aim is to raise enough money to cover the $65 registration cost for marrow donors to help blood cancer patients.

Ticket prices for the event began at $1,000. Eva Mendes was there.
