2) TAYLOR SWIFT, NICKI MINAJ FEUD, THEN MAKE UP

Nicki Minaj tweeted that she should have gotten a VMA nomination for Video of the Year for “Anaconda.” That led to an apparent spat between Minaj and actual nominee Taylor Swift, followed by a besties duet between the two after an apparent make-up at the MTV Video Music Awards a short time later.

3) ROSIE O'DONNELL'S DAUGHTER RUNS AWAY, LATER RETURNS TO BIOLOGICAL MOM

Rosie O'Donnell's daughter Chelsea, 17, was found safe in New Jersey, hours after O'Donnell announced she was missing. She was with a man she apparently met on the internet; he was later charged with endangerment of a child and public communication of obscenity. O'Donnell said her adopted daughter, who she said was mentally ill, chose to live with her biological mother when she turned 18.

4) GIULIANA RANCIC CRITICIZED FOR CRICIZING ZENDAYA'S DREADLOCKS

Giuliana Rancic stepped down as a host of "E! News" in after a tumultuous year. She drew controversy on another show she co-hosted, "Fashion Police," when she criticized the dreadlocks singer Zendaya sported on the Oscars red carpet and said Zendaya looked like she smelled "like patchouli or weed." She later apologized, but the fallout led to the departure of Kelly Osbourne and, eventually, Kathy Griffin from "Fashion Police," according to People magazine.   After the brouhaha, a limited-edition Zendaya Barbie — with dreadlocks - was released.

5) JENNIFER GARNER, BEN AFFLECK BREAK UP AMID NANNY RUMORS

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announce their divorce in late June, after 10 years of marriage. At the time of their split, rumors swirled that Affleck had an affair with the couple's nanny.

6) LAMAR ODOM OVERDOSES, ALMOST DIES AFTER COMA, KARDASHIANS CLAMOUR

After Lamar Odom almost died in a reported overdose of alcohol, cocaine and sexual stimulants at a Nevada brothel, his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian called off their divorce, for the time being, and the Kardashians started praying for him. By mid-December, Odom was reportedly not recovering as quickly as his supporters had hoped.

7) JOSH DUGGAR REVEALED AS SEXUAL ABUSER, REALITY SHOW CANCELED

After a series of sexual allegations against Josh Duggar, his family stuck by him. But TLC canceled the Duggar family's "19 kids and counting" show. The spotlight moved away for awhile, but came back when Duggar was accused of participating in the adultery site Ashley Madison. At that point, he went into rehab.

8) BOBBI KRISTINA DIES AFTER LANGUISHING IN COMA,  FAMILY TARGETS NICK GORDON

Whitney Huoston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unconscious in a bath tub in January and was comatose until dying in July at age 22. Brown's family filed a lawsuit against her former boyfriend Nick Gordon, accusing him of giving her a toxic cocktail and placing her in the bath-tub face-down. 

9) NEWSCASTER BRIAN WILLIAMS WORKS TO REHAB IMAGE AFTER 'EXAGGERATION'
Veteran newscaster Brian Williams got yanked off the air after upsetting veterans when it turned out he exaggerated stories about covering the Iraq war in 2003. He was suspended for six months. He popped up on NBC News in mid-December during a breaking news report on a threat against Los Angeles schools because the newscaster who replaced him, Lester Holt, was out sick.

10) BILL COSBY ACCUSED OF SEXUAL ASSAULT BY DOZENS OF WOMEN

Bill Cosby fell from grace after dozens of women accused him of sexual assault, offering lurid details that seemed to indicate a modus operandus. Some of the women sued him and, in December, he countersued several of them.
