For a debate held in Las Vegas, he’s an appropriate attendee.
Wayne Newton, Mr. Las Vegas, was spotted in the audience for the first Democratic debate.
Presidential candidate Jim Webb’s Twitter account tweeted a photo of Newton, saying, “Just minutes before the debate, spotted in the house: Mr. Las Vegas.”
Mr. Las Vegas is no stranger to politics. He chatted with CNN before the debate.

He also performed this year's Red Cross ball at GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach.
