Country singer Carrie Underwood surprised Nashville Predator fans with an unannounced appearance at the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs Monday night to sing the national anthem.

Underwood even wore husband Mike Fisher's jersey for the passionate performance at the city's Bridgestone Arena. Fisher, the Predator's captain, has been playing with the team since 2010.

Fisher and Underwood married in 2011 and have one child together, a 2-year-old son.

The Predators went on to beat the Chicago Blackhawks 3-2 in overtime in Game 3 of the first round of the playoffs. The win gave the Predators a three game to nothing lead in the best-of-seven series. Game 4 is Thursday
