Carrie Underwood is certainly making the most of her time in Australia.

In between shows on the Ripcord Tour with Keith Urban, Underwood and a few of her pals decided to take a flying leap -- literally.

She gave fans on social media hints about what she was up to by singing along to John Denver's "Leavin' on a Jet Plane," The Pointer Sisters' "Jump (For My Love)" and, of course, Tom Petty's "Free Fallin'" in posts made Sunday on Instagram and Twitter.

What are we doing today?

Next up, she teased fans with a photo of a certificate that said she had completed the jump.

Fans next saw still photos from the jump. In the images, Underwood and her skydiving instructor make all kinds of hilarious faces as they soar through the air.

The jump on Sunday capped off a milestone year for Underwood's career. She's up for four Rare Country Awards, including Tour of the Year and Story of the Year. Cast your vote now at RareCountryAwards.com. Winners will be announced on Dec. 15.

Remember that time we all went skydiving in Sydney?
