The daughter of the "The Help" star Viola Davis stole Halloween by dressing up as her mother.
“So.....the Elsa costume? Didn't work for her. The Pirate? A no go. So she finally said," I just want to be YOU mommy"! So... uhh.....this is ME,” Davis wrote on Facebook.
Davis shared an adorable photo of her daughter, Genesis, in a white dress, holding a faux gold statue. The girl's curly hair was worn in a style that resembled Davis' natural hairdo at the Emmy Awards earlier this year.
Davis made history at the 2015 Emmys when she became the first black actress to win the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her role as Annalise Keating on "How to Get Away with Murder."
