Hours before his death, Soundgarden and Audioslave lead singer Chris Cornell finished a show with Soundgarden at the Fox Theater in Detroit.

Rolling Stone reported that footage from that show has surfaced on YouTube.

Cornell died of a suicide by hanging himself in his hotel Wednesday night. He was 52.

The video shows Cornell jamming out and playing guitar as he sang “Spoonman,” a hit single from Soundgarden’s 1994 album, “Superunknown.”

Cornell tweeted about being back in Detroit ahead of the performance.

“Detroit finally back to Rock City!!!!” he tweeted.

Fans can be heard cheering and screaming as Cornell breaking into a guitar solo.

At one point, Cornell invites the audience to sing along, pointing his mic out into the crowd.
