Over the years, Beatles' memorabilia has brought in a significant amount of money at auction houses, and now, Ringo Starr is getting in on the act.
Starr is selling more than 1,300 items from his personal collection of artwork and heirlooms, including the first pressing of the Beatles' "White Album."
Auctioneers expect the bidding to start at $20,000 and to exceed $60,000 for the rare album. The price had reached $40,000 on Tuesday.
Also up for bid: Starr's first Ludwig Oyster black three-piece drum kit used in over 200 performances and recordings including "All My Loving" and "Can't Buy Me Love."
John Lennon's 1964 Rose-Morris Rickenbacker, given to Starr in 1968, is expected to sell for between $600,000 and $800,000.
A 2000 Mercedes coupe once owned by George Harrison and acquired by Starr after Harrison died is expected to go for $60,000 - $80,000.
Unsurprisingly, he'll sell many rings.
Proceeeds are expected to reach up to $10 million and will benefit Starr's charity, The Lotus Foundation.
