Rapper Azealia Banks, who has tweeted support for Republican Party hopeful Donald Trump and sparked a firestorm of online controversy, has been suspended from Twitter.

Her busy Twitter feed previously had included messages such as, "Trump wants to finish these wars once and for all and focus on America and SAVE OUR MONEY."

She came back hard at anyone who disagreed.

The hashtag #AzealiaGotSuspendedParty quickly became a thing.

In addition to her pro-Trump tweets, Banks went on quite the Twitter tirade, blasting former One Direction singer Zayn Malik in a series of posts many found offensive.
