"DREAMS DO COME TRUE, he captioned the post. "HAVENT SEEN MY FATHER IN 23 YEARS !!!!!! AND I STILL LOVE HIM. THE PAST IS THE PAST AND THE PRESENT IS ALL WE HAVE TO RELY ON. WE NOT PERFECT IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM I LOVE YOU POPS !!!
NO MATTER WHAT!!!!"

During an appearance on "The Breakfast Club" morning show, the Migos member said he was 4 years old when he last saw his father in person.

He said he’s attempted to reach out multiple times over the years since he’s been successful, even offering to help him with money, but he would disappear again. Before their reunion, they last spoke in 2016.

A father of four children, including daughter, Kulture, with his rapper wife, Cardi B, Offset said on the morning radio show that his debut album, "Father of 4," was released so people can get to know him.

“The reason why I even -- to keep it real, I took some shots at him on my album so he can reach (out),” he said. “What is you doing? How are you struggling? How is your momma struggling? How are you struggling? I don’t even know these people but these my family, like, how can you let that happen? I know you know -- man, listen, I’m everywhere. Come talk to me. I ain’t mad at you.”

But Offset made it clear he didn’t resent his father.

"I know how it be. You can either let the streets take you away or you can kick in with your family," he told Charlamange tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy. "A lot of folks, the streets took them away from their momma, their grandmomma, their everything. So I've just been on the other side, too. I've been a father that was locked up, trippin', not really focused on life goals, not really focusing on taking care of the kids."

On Sunday, he posted a photo on Instagram from the last time they saw each other before their reunion.
