Sony Music, the label that houses Dr. Luke's imprint label Kemosabe Records, is dropping the music producer, according to The Wrap.
The removal of the producer comes after mounting pressure since pop singer Kesha accused Dr. Luke, born Lukasz Gottwald, of sexual assault and filed a lawsuit in 2014.
"There is no contest. Kesha has no case in regard to her contract, but they can't afford the Adeles of the world out in the streets calling the label unsupportive," a source told The Wrap. "The fact that this hasn't already been taken care of with Luke is confusing, especially for people in the building."

Pop singers like Kelly Clarkson and Lady Gaga came forward to publicly support Kesha.
Lady Gaga, who has worked with Dr. Luke in the past, is urging Sony to drop the producer.
Dr. Luke responded to the allegations for the first time in a series of tweets in February.

"It's a shame that there's so much speculation out there basing itself on so little information," he tweeted.
The contract that Dr. Luke signed in 2011 with Sony is set to end in 2017.
The deal with Sony was to pay the producer $60 million, but that figure was apparently inflated.
If Dr. Luke is dropped from Sony, it would be nearly a year ahead of when his contract is supposed to end.
But a New York Post reporter said that, according to Luke's camp, a discussion about ending his contract never came up.
Luke's attorney, Christine Lepera, told BuzzFeed News Wednesday that the report was not true.
"Luke has an excellent relationship with Sony," she said. "His representatives are in regular contact with executives at the highest levels at Sony and this has never come up."
