The coat was a cover-up for three skimpier outfits hidden beneath, which the pop singer shed as she continued down the carpet with assistance from several helpers. Designer Brandon Maxwell created Gaga’s look.

She wore literally eye-popping giant gold lashes that framed her green eyes and tiny curls crowning her platinum blond bob.

Gaga defined the campy theme for this year's MET Gala "Camp: Notes on Fashion."

The “Star is Born” actress eventually stripped down, in her fourth reveal, to a black bra, black fishnet stockings and huge platform boots with staggeringly high stiletto heels. She approached the museum’s famous steps, pulling a pink wagon behind her at one point, before ditching it to pose in various positions of recline on the steps.

The annual celebration raises millions of dollars for the Costume Institute housed at the museum.
