Fire officials in Locust Grove say a person was killed in an overnight house fire, Channel 2 Action News is reporting.

Just before 11 p.m., on Thursday, the Henry County Fire Department was called to a home in the 800 block of Rose Lane in Locust Grove.

The home was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived, preventing them from entering the home, fire officials said.

The woman who lived in the house has not been accounted for, but authorities said a body was found in the remains.

Authorities have not been able to identify the body, Channel 2 said, and it is unclear how the fire started.
