Authorities said Lynche's death is under investigation for suspicious circumstances, the New York Daily News reported.

Police said there was no apparent trauma to his body, and the medical examiner is working to discover the cause of death.

The 34-year-old musician was discovered dead by his roommate in their home in Manhattan.
“There was no note, no pills,” a police source told the Daily News. “We’re waiting on the medical examiner.”
Lynche appeared alongside Britney Spears, Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera on “All New Mickey Mouse Club” between 1993 and 1995. He later performed as Simba for the Broadway experience of "The Lion King."
"I am blessed to have a career where I can use the talent God gave me to put a smile on someone's face," Lynche wrote on his Facebook page.
Originally from St. Petersburg, Florida, Lynche also auditioned for "American Idol," during the third season of the show in 2004. He went on to become a semi-finalist before Fantasia Barrino won the top spot.

He later took a break from the industry to “heal from the loss of his mother and do some soul searching,” according to his management profile.
