MARIETTA
Atlanta Antique Gun and International Military Show at Cobb County Civic Center
Gaggles of military memorabilia collectors will likely enlist in this two-day event, their wallets locked and loaded with money to spend. Various dealers canvass tables with a wide variety of American and foreign military arms for sale. Not to be confused with a gun show, it’s more than just weaponry. Guests pore over Civil War-related items, military books and ephemera, armed forces memorabilia, uniforms, and more. Organizers say there is a heavy emphasis on World War II items, and you never know what you might find. Even airplane ejector seats and helicopter dashboards have made appearances in the past. Those looking to sell or trade military items may be able to strategize a transaction.
Noon-5 p.m. April 27; 9-4 p.m. April 28. $6; $1 ages 7-12; free ages 6 and younger; $9 two-day pass. Cobb County Civic Center, 548 S. Marietta Parkway, Marietta. 704-282-1339.
