MARIETTA

“Grease Sing-A-Long” at the Earl Smith Strand Theatre

Those who have the words to the songs from the 1978 musical “Grease” etched in their memories should appreciate this. Those who don’t can follow the bouncing ball on the Strand’s big screen. John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John find some summer loving in the ’50s as an audience full of honorary T-Birds and Pink Ladies provides background vocals. A live organ pops variety show starring the Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ kicks off the evening.

7:30 p.m. Oct. 22. $8; $7 children, students and seniors. The Earl Smith Strand Theatre, 117 N. Park Square, Marietta. 770-293-0080, www.earlsmithstrand.org.
