DULUTH
“The Little Mermaid” at Gwinnett Performing Arts Center
The Northeast Atlanta Ballet won’t be floundering around this weekend as it presents this underwater tale. While kids will enjoy the Little Mermaid, the conniving Sea Witch and the rest of the waterlogged cast, adults should appreciate the precision of the ballet. Allison Hart-Geary handles all of the original choreography and the eye candy comes courtesy of costumes designed by Barbara Mock.
7:30 p.m. May 20. 3 p.m. May 22. $18.40-$21.85. Gwinnett Performing Arts Center, 6400 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth. 1-800-745-3000, www.ticketmaster.com.
