Can you feel the love tonight? Well, Sunday night, that is. Sir Elton John and longtime partner David Furnish have tied the knot.
The couple wed Dec. 21 in a private ceremony at their home in Windsor, and the "Rocket Man" singer invited the world to take part in their special day via his Instagram account. (Video via Mercury Records / Elton John)
John posted several photos of the wedding festivities throughout the day, including shots of the table settings, the ceremony and the lavish reception menu.
That's pretty impressive, considering John is brand new to Instagram as of this month.
And there was no shortage of reaction from the wedding guests on social media as well, with Hugh Grant, Elizabeth Hurley and Graham Norton all tweeting their congratulations.
John and Furnish's wedding comes exactly nine years after the couple, who have two sons together, entered into a civil partnership.
But in March, shortly after England legalized same-sex marriage, Furnish hinted to The Las Vegas Review-Journal they might be planning a wedding.
"We don't feel the need to take an extra step legally. But since we're committed for life, we feel it's really important to take that step, and take advantage of that amazing change in legislation."
John and Furnish have been together for more than 20 years. Congrats to the happy couple!
