Sorry, ladies. Crooner Neil Diamond is no longer a solitary man.
The 70-year-old Diamond announced Wednesday on Twitter that he's engaged. But not to sweet Caroline.
"Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you're the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well. Neil," Diamond posted on the social network site.
Katie is Katie McNeil, who produced the 2009 documentary titled "Neil Diamond: Hot August Night NYC." She's also produced video documentaries for other bands, such as Motley Crue, Stone Temple Pilots and the Psychedelic Furs.
An hour after making the announcement, Diamond posted a picture of his bride-to-be.
"I'm lovestruck," Diamond tweeted. "I took this photo in London last month."
The marriage will be the third for Diamond, who also was chosen Wednesday to receive a Kennedy Center Honor.
