Former UFC champ Conor McGregor is out of jail after posting bond Monday night.
Update 11:15 pm EDT March 11: McGregor was jailed on a $12,500 bond after this arrest on two felony charges following an alleged fight with a fan early Monday morning outside a Miami Beach nightclub, according to police.
McGregor was released about four hours after he was arrested, media outlets reported.
McGregor’s attorney issued a statement contending the fight between McGregor and an unnamed fan was no big deal.
"Last evening Conor McGregor was involved in a minor altercation over a cell phone that resulted in a call to law enforcement. Mr McGregor appreciates the response of law enforcement and pledges his full cooperation. "
At issue, according to a police report, was a phone. The fan apparently tried to take a picture of McGregor, who allegedly grabbed the device, smashed it, then left with it.
Surveillance tape of the incident seemed to confirm the victim’s version of events.

The incident was caught on surveillance tape outside the Fountainebleau Miami Beach and police found the mixed martial artist and boxer at his local home.

McGregor was arrested last April after an incident before a fight in Brooklyn, according to USA Today.
He was facing multiple charges, including two felonies for an alleged attack on a bus, but prosecutors dropped the charges as part of a plea deal.
