Carrie Fisher is not pulling punches when she confronts body shamers on Twitter.
Social media trolls have been focusing on how Fisher looked as former princess and now General Leia Organa, instead of the role she plays in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

She wrote on Twitter: "Please stop debating about whether or not I aged well. Unfortunately, it hurts all three of my feelings. My body hasn't aged as well as I have."
Fisher ended the tweet with a directive that is partially NSFW.
She followed up on Twitter, telling followers that youth and beauty are temporary.
And while she was responding to the negative comments about her appearance, she also retweeted support from her fans.
One said: "Men don't age better than woman, they're just allowed to age," Variety reported.
Fisher told Good Housekeeping that she had to lose more than 35 pounds before reprising her role.
In that interview, she said, "... it's an appearance-driven thing. I'm in a business where the only thing that matters is weight and appearance."
