Here are some celebrity couples who didn't have a happy ending.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are divorcing after five years of marriage. In a statement, Cruise said he is "deeply saddened" and is "concentrating on his three children," People reported.

Also splitting this year: Courteney Cox and David Arquette who cited irreconcilable differences for the end of their 12-year marriage.

Debra Messing also divorced from her husband Daniel Zelman. The pair, who have an 8-year-old son, were married in September 2000 but separated in early 2010.

In January, supermodel Heidi Klum and musician Seal divorced. They couple said after "much soul searching" they've decided to separate, and blame the breakup on "growing apart." They married in 2005.

Actor Johnny Depp and his longtime partner, Vanessa Paradis, have "amicably separated." Depp and Paradis - who together have two children, 9-year-old Jack and 13-year-old Lily-Rose - never married during their 14-year relationship.

ASHTON AN ADULTERER? After weeks of speculation, Demi Moore announced she will be divorcing her husband Ashton Kutcher, 16 years her junior. Her public statement included the cryptic line, ""As a woman, a mother and a wife, there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life." In recent months, multiple women have come forward saying they had sex with Kutcher while he was married to Moore.

Next on the list: Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston. Before they got together, Bobby was a member of New Edition, while Whitney had a amazing career in her own right. But that changed. Neither reached the success they had had before, and the reality show 'Being Bobby Brown' showed just how dysfunctional their marriage was. But thanks to a divorce, that's all behind them now, and Whitney is working on a comeback.
