A Fulton County grand jury charged Domonique Scott, one of the stars of TLC’s “The Sisterhood,” with first-degree forgery and three counts of giving false statements in November 2013. “The Sisterhood,” which debuted in January, followed the wives of five metro Atlanta preachers. She and her husband lost their church, The Good Life Ministry, after falling on hard times.

Atlanta Falcons safety William Moore was arrested on a simple battery charge April 18, 2013, in Atlanta. The Falcons released a statement saying the team was aware of the "situation involving William Moore" and was gathering more information.

Former Atlanta Braves star Andruw Jones was arrested in Gwinnett County on Dec. 25, 2012, on a battery charge. Officers responded to Jones' house in the Sugarloaf Country Club near Duluth "in reference to a domestic dispute involving husband and wife," Gwinnett police said in a statement.

In November 2012, Fox 5 news anchor Amanda Davis was arrested on DUI charges after she was involved in a wrong-way crash, according to Atlanta police.

Former Super Bowl MVP and "Dancing With the Stars" champ Hines Ward was arrested July 9, 2011, and charged with driving under the influence. The DUI charges were later dropped.

Juaquin James Malphurs, aka Waka Flocka Flame, was charged with drug and firearms violations, as well as violation of probation, in January 2011.

Former University of Georgia athletic director Damon Evans was arrested June 30, 2010, and charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop in north Atlanta, authorities said. In the arrest report, State Trooper Mark Cabe said he quickly determined that Evans, who was in the car with Courtney Fuhrman, had been drinking. During the stop, the officer said he noticed a pair of red panties between Evans' legs. Evans, who was forced to resign from UGA, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 months of probation and 40 hours of community service.

Comedian and rapper Katt Williams was arrested Nov. 8, 2009, in Newnan after a man claimed Williams broke into his home and stole nearly $4,000 worth of jewelry and collectible coins. Williams said the arrest was "a misunderstanding between me and two stupid detectives."

Rapper Soulja Boy, whose real name is DeAndre Cortez Way, was arrested Oct. 7, 2009, in McDonough after being accused of obstruction of a police officer.

Musician Robert James Ritchie, aka Kid Rock, was arrested Oct. 21, 2007, following a brawl at a Waffle House in Atlanta.

In April 2005, actor and comedian Chris Tucker was arrested in McDuffie County after officers said they clocked him going 109 mph on I-20. According to the police report, he also led police on a high-speed chase.

Singer Bobby Brown has been arrested several times on DUI, battery and drug charges. This booking photo, dated Nov. 7, 2002, was taken after Brown was charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, speeding and having no driver's license or proof of insurance.

In this February 2000 file photo, Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis silently stands by alongside his lawyer, Max Richardson Jr., during a hearing following his arrest on murder charges. The prosecution's case against Lewis later fell apart, so Fulton District Attorney Paul Howard worked out a mid-trial plea deal. Lewis pleaded guilty to obstructing justice, a misdemeanor, and got probation. In exchange, he was called as a prosecution witness.

In this June 10, 1994, file photo, TLC member Lisa Lopes is escorted from the Fulton County Police Department after turning herself in for allegedly setting fire to Andre Rison's house. She was sentenced to five years' probation in connection with the incident. Lopes died in a car wreck in April 2002.
