Zoo Atlanta will host a special birthday party this weekend for one of its orangutans.

Keju will turn 2 years old on April 9, but zoo officials are celebrating the orangutan’s birthday a day early with a public event.

Visit Orangutan Habitat 2 in the Zoo’s Asian Forest at 2 p.m. on April 8 to join in on the festivities.

Keju will be presented with wrapped gifts and a “cake.”

“The orangutans’ “cakes” are usually elaborate treats made up of aspects of their regular diet, and usually features different types of fruits and/or frozen juice,” a press release reads.

Last year Keju wasn’t interested in her “cake” so her adopted mother Madu took the liberty of eating it on her behalf.

Keju lives in Orangutan Habitat 2 with Madu (33), Chantek (39) and her adopted brothers Dumadi (10) and Remy (6).

Keju’s name means “cheese.” She was born at the Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison, Wisconsin.
