Bonnaroo announces 2008 lineup

Grunge gets reborn as Pearl Jam headlines the seventh annual Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tenn. The concert takes place June 12-15.

Metallica (pictured: James Hetfield) is Bonnaroo's other headline act. Tickets go on sale Feb. 16 at www.bonnaroo.com.

Kanye West is on the schedule. The concert takes place on a 700-acre farm.

Country singer Willie Nelson will help bridge the generational gap between past and present. More than 100 bands are on the schedule, but more are expected to be announced later.

Alison Krauss and Robert Plant will duet there. Rumors had circulated that Led Zeppelin would reunite at Bonnaroo, but they turned out to be false alarms. The consolation prize is that Zep's wailing singer will take it down a notch on songs from their critically heralded "Raising Sand" CD.

Legendary bluesman B.B. King will perform as well. Besides music, Bonnaroo offers art, cinema, a brewery festival, yoga, a "silent" disco, and even a hair salon. Really.
