Atlanta indie band Deerhunter released their sixth album Monomania in May 2013. The album was recorded in New York with frequent collaborator and producer Nicolas Vernhes at his Rare Book Room Studio.

Deerhunter was co-founded in 2001 by vocalist Bradford Cox and drummer/keyboardist Moses Archuleta. The name Deerhunter came from the band's interest in the Deer Hunter series of arcade games.
