Visual arts: See works by Mexican painter Frida Kahlo and husband  and muralist Diego Rivera in "Frida & Diego: Passion, Politics and Painting," which continues through May 12 at High Museum of Art. Music: 500 Songs for Kids, celebrating 100 of the greatest unplugged songs of all time, features local musicians playing for charity May 9-11 at Red Clay Theatre in Duluth and May 17-18 at Smith's Olde Bar in Atlanta.

Comedy: The comedic quartet The Beards of Comedy perform May 9-12 at Laughing Skull Lounge in Atlanta.

Music: Alt-rockers Smashing Pumpkins play Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta May 10.

Comedy: Laughter and zombies converge in "The Laughing Dead," through May 18 at Sketchworks Theatre in Scottdale.
