Museum: "Extreme Mammals: The Biggest, Smallest and Most Amazing Mammals of All Time" runs through Aug. 18 at Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta.

Nature: Plants take on larger-than-life proportions in "Imaginary Worlds: Plants Larger Than Life" through Oct. 31 at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in Atlanta.

Performing arts: "The Book Club Play" will run through June 23 at the Horizon Theatre Company. Tickets are $20-$30.

Music: Christian musicians congregate for AtlantaFest June 12-15 at Stone Mountain Park. Featured artists include TobyMac, LeCrae, the Newsboys and appearances by Phil Robertson and Miss Kay from the TV show "Duck Dynasty."

Visual arts: Design fans can check out "Eero Saarinen: A Reputation for Innovation" through June 30 at Museum of Design Atlanta.

Festival, music: Boogie down on 60 tons of sand at the Decatur Beach Party 5-11 p.m. June 14 at Old Courthouse Square in Decatur. Enjoy live music, kids games, a food court and drinks.

 Performing arts: Hamlet will be at The New American Shakespeare Tavern through June 23. Tickets range from $15 to $40.

Performing arts: Stop by Agatha's: A Taste of Mystery Dinner Theatre in Atlanta for "Murder at the Stonevault Museum." The show runs until July 31 and tickets start at $65.

Performing arts: "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead"  will be at The New American Shakespeare Tavern through June 22.

Music: Joan Baez and Indigo Girls perform at 7 p.m. June 14 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta.

Festival: Give a nod to all things Mississippi at Mississippi in the Park from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. June 15 at Chastain Park in Atlanta. Enjoy music, storytelling, food and crafts from the state.

Music: Hip-hop fans will have a lot to celebrate at the Birthday Bash 18 Block Party from noon-5 p.m. June 15 at Centennial Olympic Park in Atlanta, followed by the Hot 107.9 Birthday Bash 18 at 6 p.m. at Philips Arena, featuring performances from 2 Chainz and T.I.
