With Halloween fast approaching, there are plenty of places near Atlanta to take the family for hayrides, corn mazes and other traditional fall activities. Check out 9 nearby farms that offer farm-themed fun through early November.

 1. Mitcham Farm Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze Mitcham Farm's 7-acre corn maze features trivia based around its yearly theme. In 2018, visitors can expect to learn about the world's tallest (and one of the deadliest) mountain while navigating twists and turns.

2. Washington Farms Washington Farms' corn maze begins with an optional 30-foot slide and continues on through at least 1.5 miles of winding pathways. Two bridges above the corn maze allow visitors to see a theme – which changes every year.

3. Jaemor Farms Explore Jaemor Farms' corn maze which this year is called "Hometown Heroes!" The farm also offers hayrides, an apple cannon, pumpkin train, petting zoo and more.

 4. Yahoo Farm Yahoo stays open til 10 p.m. on Saturdays and after dark the maze becomes the Cosmic Corn Maze. There's plenty of other things to do here too.

6. Carlton Farms Carlton Farms' corn maze is 5 acres featuring more than two miles of pathways. Visitors can enjoy a hay ride and petting zoo for an additional fee.

 7. Sleepy Hollow Farm If you've seen the show "Stranger Things" you've already seen Sleepy Hollow Farm. Star power baby! Admission also includes access to a hayride and other farm activities.
