The Atlanta Fair offers plenty of family-friendly fun, but between paying for tickets for rides and purchasing food, the outing can get expensive.

If you're looking to enjoy the fair before it leaves Turner Field's Gray Lot on April 2, you're in luck.

On March 30, the first 102 guests to arrive at the fair will receive an unlimmited ride armband. Attendees who donate a new or used pair of walking shoes will be admitted for free.

The offers are a part of the fair's celebration of National Take a Walk in the Park Day.

Although fair food isn't exactly the healthiest choice, attending the fair is a fun way to get everyone in your family moving.

From the Ferris wheel which offers a view of the Atlanta skyline, to bumper cars, having an unlimmited ride armband will allow attendees to enjoy everything the fair has to offer at a discounted price.

Typically, the number of tickets needed for each ride varies from 2 – 5. Individual ride tickets are $1.25, but tickets can also be bought in bulk at discount rates. Unlimmited ride armbands are $25.

5-10 p.m. March 30. $1, children ages 2-11; $5, attendees 12 years old or older. Turner Field's Gray Lot, 655 Central Ave., Atlanta.

In 2022, Georgia Power projected its winter peak electricity demand would grow by about 400 megawatts by 2031. Since then, Georgia has experienced a boom of data centers, which require a large load of electricty to run, and Georgia Power's recent forecast shows peak demand growing by 20 times the 400-megawatt estimate from just three years ago.
