Want a whole place to yourself in Atlanta, but just for a short time? There are more than 300 short-term Airbnb rental options that will answer the need in the Atlanta area. They vary wildly (and wonderfully).
As it turns 10, Airbnb is widely popular and has been growing quickly for over a decade. Its 2019 gross bookings reached $9.4 billion in the first quarter of 2019, up 31% year-over-year, according to Crunchbase News.
Airbnbs have been going strong in the Atlanta metro area since the concept was introduced in 2009. The Super Bowl in Atlanta gave prices a huge boost, but now they're back to a normal now. You can still find luxury dwellings that command top prices, though. Here are four of the upper-crust, short-term rental highlights:
$1,699 per night
12 guests, 2 bedrooms, 2 beds, 2 baths
Airbnb host: Dr.
A two-level condo with a balcony, two baths, and three flat-screen televisions is right above a Midtown hub with shops and restaurants. The same host rents Maseratis, Corvettes, Teslas and other luxury cars.
$6,400 per night
12 guests, 6 bedrooms, 7 beds, 12 baths
Airbnb host: Dr.
Buyers for this home would pay $9 million to enjoy 25,000 square feet of luxury in 15 rooms with a pool and hot tub. Pets, smoking, parties and events are all allowed, but haggling is not. It may not be Atlanta's most expensive Airbnb, since some others are listed at $10,000 per night, but it's a mansion that will let you live like a millionaire.
10 guests, 5 bedrooms, 6 beds, 6 baths
Airbnb Superhost: Jerry
A modern home across from Piedmont Park, the highlight of this short-term rental in Atlanta is the private pool. Or is it the two master suites with balconies, the floor-to-ceiling windows or the housewide speaker system?
$199 per night
8 guests, 2 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 baths
Airbnb host: Ashley
More affordable and outrageously fun, the all-pink exterior and mostly-pink inside are all yours. It's begging for bridal shower weekends and other pink-inspired sleepovers.
Cozy "all yours" Airbnb rentals in Atlanta
As for the cozy category within the "you rent the whole thing" Atlanta Airbnb, there are a multitudes of ways to rent an entire property for less than $50. The Superhosted "Independent Guest House and Huge Outdoor Space" is part of a renovated bungalow and goes for around $48 per night in Candler Park, for example. There's also the one-bedroom, one-bath, two-guest camper belonging to an antique store dealer that rates $75 per night. It's considered one of the Top 12 Airbnb accommodations in Atlanta, according to Trip 101.
