The popular Atlanta Mac and Cheese Festival will return for a second year.

The inaugural event took place last October and garnered a lot of attention from macaroni and cheese enthusiasts, as well as participation from more than 20 local food vendors.

This year the festival will return to Walker Park on Oct. 7.

No further details about this year's festival have been released regarding the event or ticket prices. Check out a list of last year's vendors here.

The 2016 Atlanta Macaroni & Cheese Festival benefited Neighbor in Need, a volunteer-run organization whose mission is to help low income elderly residents in East Lake, Kirkwood and Edgewood, East Atlanta and Decatur's Oakhurst Community with emergency home repairs.
