It may have felt like the entire world had eyes on Levi's Stadium Sunday as the Denver Broncos took on the Carolina Panthers for Super Bowl 50 -- and it's true that the viewers included at least one set of eyes in outer space.
Astronaut Scott Kelly hosted a Super Bowl 50 party on the International Space Station, although the exotic locale kept all his potential visitors at bay.
"No one showed up," Kelly wrote in a Facebook post. "I would have served nachos!"
While flying 250 miles above the San Francisco Bay area Sunday, Kelly couldn't resist snapping a few photos.
"Got to see the Super Bowl in person after all!" he wrote.
On Sunday, Kelly was 317 days into his year on the International Space Station. He and Russian astronaut Mikhail Korniyenko are on-board ISS as part of research into the health effects of long periods in space, according to NASA.
