Starting this week the public can purchase discounted and regular-priced tickets to shows at Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the High Museum of Art at Colony Square in Midtown.

Developer North American Properties and the Woodruff Arts Center have teamed up to add a pop-up box office to the Colony Square retail space at Concierge.

The box office will open on March 8 at 11 a.m. There will be performances and ticket giveaways throughout the day to celebrate.

The box office will have $20 day-of tickets and regular admission to shows at Alliance Theatre and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. Regular-priced tickets to the High Museum of Arts will also be available.

The box office will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The pop-up box office is inspired by the TKTS Discount Booths in New York City.

In addition to opening the box office this week, Colony Square will also host "Jack," a performance by three international dancers on March 11 at 8 p.m. The performance is a collaboration between Colony Square, Dashboard, Atlanta Film Festival and Protect Awesome. Tickets are $8 in advance and can be purchased by visiting dashboard.us/jackatl.
