You probably know the delightful 2003 movie, “Elf,” the hilarious tale of Buddy, a young orphan child who mistakenly crawls into Santa’s bag of gifts and is transported back to the North Pole.

Raised to adulthood among Santa’s elves, Buddy is a regular-sized man who is unaware that he is actually human. He journeys to New York City to find his birth father, discover his true identity, and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.

The movie is already a Christmas classic.

Now, “Elf the Musical” comes to the Fox Theatre for the first time Wednesday, Dec. 2 to spread Christmas cheer by singing loud for all to hear.

Elf the Musical will be the Fox from Wednesday Dec. 2 - Saturday Dec. 6. Tickets start at $33.50. For tickets go to www.foxtheatre.org.
