It's been 25 years since Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" was released in theaters.

In celebration, Disney held a 25th anniversary screening of the film at Alice Tully Hall in New York, according to ABC News.

Almost as iconic as Belle's yellow ballgown is Mrs. Potts, the animated teacup, including the movie's title song as Belle dances with Beast.

The woman behind the character, Angela Lansbury, performed of the song and brought an extra dose of nostalgia to the screening, which brought cheers and applause from the audience.

Lansbury recites the same lines Mrs. Potts says to her teacup son, Chip, at the end of the song, just like her character in the film.

"Run along and get in the cupboard, Chip," she said. "It's time you was in bed. Goodnight, love."
