American Idol auditions in Puerto Rico

In San Juan, Puerto Rico, the crowd auditioning for a shot at being the next 'American Idol' was small but enthusiastic.

Producer Cecile Frot-Coutaz told the New York Times that Idol had expected a small turnout in Puerto Rico because it is an island, but that they went there to give a different flavor to the show.
