The 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards nominations have been announced and "The Big Bang Theory" is among the nominees for Outstanding Comedy Series. Jim Parsons (right) is again nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series.

"Breaking Bad" vies in the Outstanding Drama Series category as well. Bryan Cranston (left) bids for an Outstanding Lead Actor Emmy.

"30 Rock" is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, while Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey vie for Emmys in the Outstanding Lead Actor and Actress In A Comedy categories.

Larry David gets a nod for Outstanding Lead Actor In A Comedy Series for his role as Larry David in "Curb Your Enthusiasm," which is nominated in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. Got all that?

"Modern Family" racked up the Emmy nominations again. It's up for Outstanding Comedy Series and Sofia Vergara (right) bids for an Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Comedy Emmy.

In the Outstanding Drama Series category, "Boardwalk Empire" goes for an Emmy and Steve Buscemi (left) is nominated in the Outstanding Lead Actor (Drama) category.

Comedian Louis C.K. is nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor (Comedy) for his series "Louie."

"Mike & Molly" isn't up for an Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy but Melissa McCarthy could win the Outstanding Lead Actress (Comedy) award. She's nominated.

Don Cheadle is nominated for an Outstanding Lead Actor (Comedy) Emmy for his work in "House Of Lies."

Jon Hamm and "Mad Men" racked up a slew of Emmy nods. He's up for Lead Actor (Drama) and the show is up for Outstanding Drama Series.

"American Horror Story" is nominated for Outstanding Miniseries or Made-for-TV Movie.

Edie Falco is back in the mix for the Lead Actress (Comedy) Emmy as "Nurse Jackie."

"Veep" is a nominee for Outstanding Comedy Series and Julia Louis-Dreyfus is also bidding for a Lead Actress In A Comedy Emmy for the series.
