Stonehaven at Sugarloaf
The homeowners: Quick access to events such as Josh Groban’s June concert at Gwinnett Arena and I-85 was a selling point for Kevin and Karolina Bradt, who moved into a new five-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home in Duluth’s Stonehaven at Sugarloaf in February. “We really liked how close it was to the highway,” Kevin said. “A lot of times when you go into these communities, you have a 30-minute commute on the highways and 30 minutes on surface roads.” The neighborhood, off Sugarloaf Parkway, is less than 1 mile to I-85. Shopping is plentiful, with the community on the same exit as Discover Mills and just a couple of exits from Mall of Georgia in Buford and Gwinnett Place Mall in Duluth. Plus, amenities such as the pool and tennis courts appealed to Karolina, 36, who works for Newell Rubbermaid, and Kevin, 42, CEO of CampusBrands, a student housing company. “My house is literally right across from the tennis court, so I love that,” said Kevin, who played tennis at Northern Illinois University.
