Design professionals cooking in their kitchen
Warner and Allison McConaugheys — he, owner of design and renovation company HammerSmith Inc.; she, an interior designer — will open their home to visitors on this weekend's Junior League of Atlanta Tour of Kitchens. The tour features chefs, cookbook authors and organic food vendors doing demonstrations at the 14 homes. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door.

The tour features chefs, cookbook authors and organic food vendors doing demonstrations at the 14 homes. Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 at the door. The McConaugheys were inspired by kitchens found in historic homes on Cumberland Island, traditionally staffed by servants. In their South Ponce de Leon Avenue home, dad gets help from the children as he makes fresh pasta.
