The work of 25 Atlanta artists goes on display this December with the “Festivity Trees” at Colony Square.

On Friday, 41 hand-painted, wooden trees will be unveiled on Peachtree Street in Midtown. While 25 of the trees are new, 16 are original works from the previous year.

This is the second year Colony Square has produced the Festivity + Trees display. In September, local artists were asked to submit an application to participate.

nclude a number of working artists as well as artists who work in other fields such as a personal injury attorney and an HR professional.

This year the artists are (in alphabetical order): MARGO AKROYD, TARIK BERBEY, BERTA BORUKHOV, DANA BURRELL, ADAM CRAWFORD, KELLY CROSBY, ASHLEY DOWNING, KATIE DUANE, LACY M. FREEMAN, ANDREW HARMON, LARRY HOLLAND, ANGIE JEREZ, VILE KYLE, ELIZABETH LANG, JENNIFER LINGVALL, KATIE McGUIRE, TINA HOFER MEDICO, KATE NAYLOR, TORI PRICE, TAYLOR ROBINSON, PAM SCHUTTY, MONICA TOOKES, CHRIS VEAL, SARA WARDLOW and SCOTT WISE.

At a reveal party on Friday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m., the trees will be unveiled for the public.

Attendees can purchase beverages from the Sunshine Alchemy alcohol truck or s’mores and hot chocolate from Malvi while enjoying live entertainment by the Tinseltone Carolers. The event is free to attend.

The trees will be on display from Dec. 1 through Dec. 27.
