Beginning Thursday, Aug. 31, Instacart will begin delivering items from Atlanta area Aldi stores.

Several dozen metro area neighborhoods are eligible for the service.

Customers shop online at instacart.com or from the Instacart App. At checkout, shoppers set a delivery window from an hour up to one week later. Instacart personal shoppers then fill the order.

About 90 percent of the items sold at ALDI are proprietary brands such as SimplyNature and LiveGFree Gluten-free food. They serve as lower cost alternatives to national name brands.

For a limited time, ALDI and Instacart are offering customers $20 off their first Instacart order with code ALDIDELIVERY now through Sept. 30 (some terms and conditions apply.)
