Atlanta woman inspires movement against street harassment

June 24, 2016

The Atlanta woman who started sounding off about street harassment on Twitter with #NoWomanEver, has watched her small movement go viral.

After almost a week, women are still offering up (with a healthy dose of snark) all the things no woman ever wants a man to do to get her attention.

"Ceej," whose profile lists her as from the Buckhead/Vinings/ Sandy Springs area resurrected the hashtag on June 18 (it has been used in various capacities as early as 2012/2013) and watched as women began to pick up the charge and share their stories.

In addition to media coverage, the movement got a Facebook shout on Friday from actor Ashton Kutcher:

You can even order a #NoWomanEver t-shirt now through July 4 for $15 at  teespring.com .

And if you're one of those guys being called out for bad behavior...maybe think twice before you speak.
