Michael Savage moves to WGST-AM starting Wednesday at 9 p.m.

Savage had spent several years late night on AM750 and now 95.5 FM News/Talk WSB but was replaced this week by Macon RedState.com blogger and CNN commentator Erick Erickson.

Rusty Humphries, the new afternoon host on WGST, made the announcement on air this afternoon.

Savage is one of the most popular talk show hosts nationwide with more than 400 stations.

WGST's late-night signal, however, is limited and can hardly be heard outside the Perimeter. (You'll have to use www.wgst.com.)

Ramsey had been on WGST from 3 to 6 p.m. but is now on WSB Radio from midnight to 3 a.m.
