Kandi Burruss celebrated the one-year anniversary of her clothing shop TAGS Boutique in Smyrna this past Friday night.

She was in good spirits, wearing a masquerade mask and hobnobbing with friends. I got there fairly early so I was able to grab her and her boutique co-partner Peaches Chin, who does most of the clothing shop buys.

The shop sells chic men's and women's clothing with target prices under $100. If you watch "Real Housewives of Atlanta," you'd never know she was a clothing shop owner. Kandi explained that the show already had fashion covered with Lisa Wu Hartwell and Sheree Whitfield in the past so they are focusing on Kandi's music. But she said TAGS may get a cameo or two later this season.

She also said she has worked on a second song with Kim Zolciak after "Tardy for the Party." But there will be tension over monetary compensation.

Kandi's new album finally drops next month, and she'll be opening for Fantasia on November 11 at the Fox Theatre.

None of her fellow Housewives showed up to the party. (Last year for the opener, Dwight Eubanks, Lisa Wu Hartwell and Kim Zolciak popped by.)

She didn't have any particular opinion about the show moving to Sundays from Monday starting Nov. 7.
