Porsha Stewart, in a trailer for the upcoming season of Bravo's "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," implies that her husband and former NFL player Kordell Stewart may be into guys.
I'm very ashamed of my wife for saying something that she knows is not true
at all. The rumors have never been true. I'm not gay. It is sad that she
would target the homosexual community which often times lacks support to
begin with. It is very disappointing that she will do anything and say
anything for a minute of so-called fame. She can have that life, I just
want to continue to be the best single dad and father that I can for my son.
Kordell filed for divorce this past spring after two years with no children between them. (The son he references is from a previous relationship.) Porsha told media afterwards that she had been blindsided.On her first season on "Real Housewives" in 2012-13, she said she had a "picture perfect life" which included a great marriage with Kordell. During the season, he came across as controlling but otherwise, there were no obvious signs that divorce was imminent.
Since then, there has been tussling over where she could live, which spilled out into court papers. He cited her for "financial negligence" and an "unreasonable sense of entitlement." (You can read more here.)
Kordell, an afternoon sports talk host on 92.9/The Game, has not commented publicly about the divorce.
