The House and Senate are in at 10 a.m., although the bills on the floor are really only the appetizer for work being done in committee later today.

The Senate will consider four bills including Senate Bill 121, which would codifies an emergency rule by Gov. Nathan Deal expanding access to an anti-opioid overdose drug called naloxone and let pharmacists dispense the drug over the counter.

At 1 p.m. in room 307 CLOB, the Senate Regulated Industries and Utilities Committee may -- or may not -- take up state Sen. Brandon Beach's "Destination Resort" casino bill (SB 79), depending on whether an arm or two got twisted over the weekend.

State Rep. Allen Peake is expected to unveil tweaks to his effort in HB 65 that would broaden the state's medical marijuana law.

In the House, a baker's dozen of bills are on the calendar, including HB 264, which doubles to $400 million the bonding limit of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority.

Later, the full Appropriations Committee meets at 2 p.m. in room 341 of the Capitol. The panel will consider HB 51, Rep. Earl Ehrhart's bill dealing with accusations of sexual assault on college campuses as well as HB 202, which increases the salary of the next governor.

The House Public Safety Committee has a lengthy agenda for its 1 p.m. meeting, including HB 280, the campus gun bill.
