Democratic National Committee interim chair Donna Brazile will be in Atlanta next week for a pair of events.

Brazile, a familiar face on Sunday morning news shows as well as CNN, will first join Republican strategist Margaret Hoover for a 3 p.m. panel Tuesday at Georgia State University to discuss "The Rise of the Millennial Voter." That event will be in the ballroom of Student Center East at 44 Courtland St. SE.

A few hours later, Brazile will join state House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, D-Atlanta, at a fund raiser for the Georgia House Democratic Caucus.

“Donna Brazile is an extraordinary leader who has been instrumental in shaping the Democratic Party’s vision for our country,” Abrams said in a statement. “It is a tremendous honor to have her support as we work to elect more Democrats to the Georgia House and accelerate our state’s Democratic evolution.”

Brazile, a veteran Democratic activist and consultant, took over as interim chair of the DNC after Debbie Wasserman Schultz was forced to resign during this summer's national convention.
