Obama will deliver the eulogy, an official confirmed to The Post and Courier.
Further details about the president's travel to South Carolina will be made available in the coming days.
The funeral is Friday. Obama's presence was expected, but the attendance of Biden -- the administration's lead on gun control who also just went through his own son's heart-wrenching funeral -- adds emotional heft.
